David's Decision

<p> <em>David's Decision</em><strong> </strong>follows author Vicki D. King's prior book <em>Amy's Friendship Bracelet.</em></p><p class=ql-align-justify> </p><p class=ql-align-justify>David Taylor is Amy's oldest brother and he's having issues dealing with a new student who's different from David's other classmates.</p><p class=ql-align-justify> </p><p class=ql-align-justify>The new student eighth-grader Kellen Stevens is one of the few African Americans at Longwood Academy and he wears his hair in dreadlocks. To top it off Kellen is just as smart as David and plays soccer just as well as David if not better.</p><p class=ql-align-justify> </p><p><em>David's Decision</em> boils down to this: either squelch his ego or risk being the reason their soccer team loses its first match.</p><p><br></p><p>Author Bio : This is Vicki D. King's seventh book and the third in her Amy series. I live within 5 to 10 minutes from where I grew up. The amazing thing is that after graduating high school I joined the U.S. Marines and lived in California and Chicago before returning to my hometown meeting a high school classmate settling down and raising a family.
