Continually inhabited for over 9000 years the island of Newfoundland rises from the white-capped waves of the North Atlantic as a testament to the collective hard work determination and ingenuity of its peoples. Roland L. Noël has spent much of his life contemplating the livelihoods and fortunes of these ancestors first growing up in Freshwater Conception Bay and later as custodian of his family tree.
