Days of Open Hand

<p>This book is a continuation of the effort that began more than five years ago and culminated in the first collection of poems Sunshine After Rain (2016). As before many styles – traditional free and blank verse – are used to leave an imprint on the mind. While there are not many English haikus here and some poems are atypical like ‘Temptation’ others reflect Indian values and culture like ‘Moksha’ and ‘Darkness Before Dawn’. Altogether another refreshing collection a companion volume to Sunshine After Rain. The title Days of Open Hand is an allusion to prayer not gambling.</p>
