Based on a true story of a young married couple with a baby set in 1972.For the first time they were forced to live apart.While Laura and baby stayed with friends in London Michael stayed at a residential college being trained to be a prison officer.Their trials and tribulations are expressed through letters.There is not only sadness and confusion but also comedy and an overwhelming sense of love.
