Set in 1818 in Old London during the regency era. Violet Greenhill has always been the most admired woman in London. She is called breathtakingly beautiful and is known for her wit and quick ways. She keeps getting a lot of attention and marriage proposals but one sudden day she gets a letter from an unknown person and when those letters become regular Violet cannot help but fall in love. Simon Siddell Earl of Watford had turned into a quiet man who never indulged in conversations and wasnt loved much by London due to his dark personality. But he was a silent spectator or more of a silent lover who watched Miss Violet from afar dancing and chatting lovingly with others. He loved her deeply but feared to talk to her because of his one daunting secret that had haunted him for years. But when his desperation grew uncontrollable he started sending her letters as anonymous to fulfill his one desire that hed kept close to his soul for years.
