<p>Welcome to Musgrave Landing. A village skirting the Samsum Narrows on Salt Spring Island in the pacific northwest. The quickest way to travel there is to take the ferry from Vancouver Island. You'll arrive right next to Jane's Eats & Treats cafe.</p><p>Jane Westcott has come home to Musgrave Landing and nothing will be the same again. She has inherited her aunt's cafe and a good thing too. Her finances are in a shambles. Her sister receives a letter from their deceased aunt alluding to finding a key. But where is Jane's letter?</p><p>The villagers learn the mayor is missing and Jack Birch finds him murdered. Why is Jane's letter in his coat? Worse as the investigation unfolds Jack finds the murder weapon. Turns out it is Jane's gun...</p>
