Death and the Single Killer

<p>Joe Davis Twin Cities humor blogger and low-grade celebrity takes on his most dangerous case yet. Two years ago he first dealt with a comely contract killer named Deirdre. A year ago he teamed with Deirdre to solve a murder. Now he must solve Deirdre's murder.</p><p> </p><p>While still reeling from the news of Deirdre's death Joe becomes the target of a cartel. It seems Deirdre was looking for a mysterious woman and the cartel thinks Joe was working with her. In order to stop the cartel and save himself Joe must find this woman before they do.</p><p></p><p>The search takes Joe into Deirdre's history. The tragedy that defined her. The shadowy figure who saved her and trained her. The vendetta that killed her. Joe is forced to ask himself questions. Who is the woman Deirdre was looking for? Why does the cartel want her? What is Deirdre's history with the cartel? Caught between the cartel and the police Joe must find a way to get these answers. And survive. </p>
