Death at Dawn

<p>MJ McCaal finds his ex-wife Pamela dead beside a pool in the woods. He realizes that he will be the next target as he searches for her. He confides in a friend Dianne Vargas and discovers that she is a private investigator and can handle the danger. They cannot do this on their own and team up with Sheriff Buckmaster who is heading the official search.</p><p></p><p>They agree to be the bait to draw out the killer. During a rainstorm they take shelter in a cabin known to the killer and MJ discovers that his partner is a trans female. Although surprised MJ finds that he has fallen in love with her. In a highly segmented society what would happen if someone from one segment falls in love with someone from another segment the author wonders.</p><p></p><p>We are all Americans and we all bleed red when cut Day explains.
