Death of a Low-handicap Man

When Tom Tyzack is viciously beaten to death with a golf club on the local golf course PC Arthur Root the local village bobby is in the unenviable position of having to question his fellow club members. He is regarded with scorn by the detective in charge of the case and the latters ill-natured attitude toward the suspects does little to assist him in solving the mystery. But it is Root who after a second brutal murder stumbles on the clue that leads to the discovery of the killer!
