<h1>Death is hard but it's a living.</h1><p><br></p><p>Or at least that's what Frankie Hart Reaper-in-Training is trying to convince herself. Tongue-tied and awkward she's really just muddling through until retirement. When her high school bully Beau seeks her help to reunite with his recently departed girlfriend Penelope she agrees-for a hefty fee.</p><p><br></p><p>But as they say in Death you make plans and the ghouls in Administration laugh. An expired passport puts Frankie and Beau on a path toward something more than friends and while Beau wonders how long you have to wait after someone dies to break up with them Penelope just wants to get back to her routine.</p><p><br></p><p>Stuck together on a luxury cruise ship sailing down the River Styx this unlikely trio find themselves up against something bigger than their messy afterlives: murder.</p><p><br></p><p>Are Life and Death different sides of the same penny? Is the kraken really a vegetarian? And what happens if you die in Death? Maybe Frankie's retirement will happen sooner than she planned.</p>
