The goal of this work is twofold: firstly to raise students’ linguistic competencies and to help them gain greater confidence in their beliefs about their language ability and practical English usage. Secondly this course aims to raise awareness of the issues surrounding the New World Order (NWO) whilst developing their critical thinking abilities and to empower them with the knowledge that they control and create their own reality. So essentially the content is based on some of the so-called ''conspiracy theories'' that are gaining momentum in mainstream society and independent and alternative media outlets but which are largely ignored by the powerful mass media. The approach of the textbook has been tried and tested. The content of this textbook is different. It is unique. It is a first for the EFL industry. It is hoped that students are inspired to keep learning more and to aim for their dreams whatever they maybe.
