The research titled Decision Making Style and Achievement in Zoology Among Higher Secondary Students investigates the correlation between decision-making styles and academic achievement in zoology among students in higher secondary schools in Madurai district Tamil Nadu. Conducted as part of a Master of Philosophy in Education program this descriptive and normative study surveyed a sample of 355 students. It analyzed variables such as gender medium of instruction school locality school type management number of intimate friends and residency status.Key objectives included measuring students' decision-making styles assessing zoology achievement levels and exploring significant differences based on the independent variables. The study utilized a Decision-Making Style Inventory standardized by Rajaram (2009) alongside students' zoology examination marks for assessment.The findings highlight significant gender and demographic influences on decision-making styles and achievement. The results emphasize the necessity for tailored educational strategies to enhance decision-making and academic performance & students in making informed decisions and achieving academic success.
