About The Book

Fading has always been a major obstacle in the effective transmission of signals from the transmit antenna to the receive antenna. The innovation of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system has led to the regression of the adverse effect of these fading entities and thus provided a higher data rate communication while maintaining the quality of service (QoS). A MIMO system is efficient and reliable but has hardware complexities. Thus the concept of cooperative technology was put forth with a view to deal with the drawbacks of MIMO system. Cooperative communication comprises of relay terminals placed in between source and destination which then act as a virtual MIMO system and thus maintaining the QoS and reliability.
