Deep Secret

<p>Lorraine was an accomplished writer of poetry and prose and attended numerous events on the Devon poetry 'circuit'. Her husband Rodney was a highly regarded poet also and Lorraine worked tirelessly in support of his work.<br> </p><p>Although many of the poems in this collection were written after Rod's death in 2014 they explore family history in all its mysteries agonies and contradictions reaching back well over a century.</p><p>Lorraine made her final home in Crediton where she continued to cast an ironic but humane eye on contemporary life and its concerns.</p><p>Lorraine was a member of the Shobrooke writing group from its formation in 2015 until her death in December 2023. </p><p><br>Her fellow writers are proud to share her work with her large circle of friends and a wider public. </p><p>Any proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to Crediton Food Bank.</p>
