In 1992 she and her husband Mark moved to St. Petersburg Russia with their first child where they served as missionaries and she later co-founded The Harbor a pioneering transitional care program for orphans. She led the organization until 2015 providing holistic trauma-informed care that integrated psychological spiritual and developmental support. Since then she has been training orphan and foster care programs in the U.S. and globally in TBRI trauma informed care.</p><p></p>
