DEFORESTATION VS CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSIONS

In this book we focus on an important and still understudied issue in the Angolan context deforestation vs. carbon dioxide emissions. We present a study whose methodology can be adapted in other Angolan contexts and even in the tropical region both in Africa and South America. We work so that it can be used by remote sensing and geoprocessing specialists or not as a model methodology for monitoring deforestation vs. carbon dioxide emission rates at large spatial and temporal scales using remote sensing data and tools.
