Delhi's Master Plans and Best Practices

The capital city of India Delhi has planned its space on the basis of Master Planning strategy. Master Plans of Delhi are the most authoritative document for city planning. However as a policy document it is pertinent to examine them in the purview of prevailing theoretical concepts also. This can prove further helpful in guiding city development. The examination of these plans in the light of proposed international and national planning practices is conducted in this study.
