Delighting in God

Although there are many individuals who believe in God and think that he is present everywhere they have not yet felt his presence. The lesson Tozer intended as the sequel to The Knowledge of the Holy is to delight in God. He exemplifies how the Christian life of worship and service might be understood in light of the qualities of God—those things God has revealed about himself. He is the centre of the Christian life and the source of all of our fulfilment joy and solace and we are here to serve and worship him. However we can only accomplish so if we recognise who he is which is the essence of the Christian life. We must comprehend who God is in order to comprehend who we are.
