DEMENTIA PAINTING

<p>A book about one persons experience of painting through dementia. A historical background is given to look at the reasons that Joan my have become an artist and also the other conditions of her life - especially being a housewife and mother. There is also some polemic about working class artists and the invisible limitations on amateur art.</p><p>Includes many full page colour illustrations of Joan's paintings that show the progression of her work from formal realist to become more abstract.</p>
