<p>Hallie is a defender of demons from the mortal world. Her mother's death leaves her and her team off the active roster until they're ready to fight again. But encountering the new trainers in the area causes Hallie to wonder if her attraction to the lead trainer can ever lead to love.</p><p>Robert's attraction to Hallie is immediate and strong but can he learn to love someone who wasn't his wife?
