<p>Vogel is a spy with the gift of supernatural hearing who chases down villains on behalf of the Teutonic Knights Order rulers of the city of Rittershafen. When he isn't doing that he indulges his love of larceny and good beer.</p><p><br></p><p>Life is good and uncomplicated.</p><p><br></p><p>Until he's dragged before the Bishop of Rittershafen and the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order and tasked with hunting down the murderer of two of the Church's priests and witch hunters. Together the duo storm through the city of Rittershafen rubbing shoulders with vicious underworld villains deadly monks and insane sorcerers.</p><p><br></p><p>By the time he's closed this case Vogel is going to meet powerful new people acquire wondrous treasures and come face to face with intriguing and terrifying demons.
