A woman hears a voice guide her for almost seventy years. She survives abuse and tragedy. In the year 1988 she wants her story to be told. But the interviewer is a skeptic convinced at first that she is just a mentally imbalanced harmless old lady. He soon discovers that she is much more than that. It is a book about abuse and survival which raises many more questions than it answers.
