<p>Bowing to external pressure the government orders two battalions of the Regiment to Saudi Arabia.</p><p>Newly married and now promoted Elizabeth Bekebaum and three hundred troops are sent ahead to prepare the Regiments base.</p><p>Caught between the U.S. Marines the Saudi armed forses and Saddam's Iraqi army Elizabeth must walk a fine line to ensure cooperation with her allies while keeping an eye on the Iraqis.</p><p>Back home her teenage brother Richard reluctantly enters service as a candidate. Only time will tell if he just goes through the motions or becomes fully involved. The Regiment needs new leaders.</p>
