Bowing to external pressure the government orders two battalions of the Regiment to Saudi Arabia.Newly married and now promoted Elizabeth Bekebaum and three hundred troops are sent ahead to prepare the Regiments base.Caught between the U.S. Marines the Saudi armed forses and Saddams Iraqi army Elizabeth must walk a fine line to ensure cooperation with her allies while keeping an eye on the Iraqis.Back home her teenage brother Richard reluctantly enters service as a candidate.
