Design and Evaluation of New GPS Signal Acquisition Algorithm

This book describes a new approach to GPS Signal Acquisition algorithm the first and arguably the most critical step in a GPS receiver architecture chain. A software defined receiver is the target while working on the proposed scheme. In such scenarios there is stringent constriction of time and space. The smaller TTFF is a significant metric to weigh acquisition scheme among other prevailing techniques. The preliminary results have been satisfactory as there is still need of more rigorous testing in variety of situations.
