The Pollution and global warming are two of the most pressing issues facing the world today with the transportation sector being a major contributor to both. The burning of fossil fuels in vehicles releases harmful pollutants such as carbon dioxide nitrogen oxides and particulate matter leading to deteriorating air quality adverse health effects and climate change.The Internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles which have dominated the transportation industry for over a century have several significant drawbacks. They also produce harmful emissions that contribute to environmental degradation. Additionally the dependence on finite fossil fuel resources makes the transportation sector vulnerable to price fluctuations and geopolitical tensions.The Electric vehicles (EVs) have emerged as a cleaner more efficient alternative to ICE vehicles. With zero tailpipe emissions quieter operation and lower maintenance costs EVs are increasingly seen as the future of transportation. In recent years advancements in battery technology government incentives and growing environmental awareness have contributed to the rapid rise of EV adoption.
