Design of Reactors for ��-Carotene Production from Dunaliella Salina

To design the Photo Bioreactor to Isolate ?-Carotene from Dunaliella Salina Species. ?-Carotene is present in the commercial vegetable Carrot. ?-Carotene is rich in Vitamin A. Vitamin A deficiencies can be cured by ?-Carotene. Hence we are focussing on the alternative source from Saline algae species Dunaliella Salina. This species is rich in ?-Carotene in which Vitamin A acts as a precursor. To analyze the biochemical composition of Dunaliella salina sp. (Biomass content Protein and Carotenoid) and also analyze the growth performance of Dunaliella salina sp. in Tubular Photobioreactor by varying the concentration.
