Design - Putting Mind into Matter

If taken in a positive sense design could be the exploitation of designer's own intelligence creativity and talent for the benefit of the society whereby he can add lot more value to small quantities of material through the utilisation of his special mental skills. this can be well understood when we say that a ton of steel can be exchanged for few kilograms of computer hardware or few grams of computer software - so much of mental prowess and genius is packed into so little. And that is the real design - putting Mind into the Matter-making the matter intelligent and intelligible.
