Designing of Buildings and Structures

The results of the researches which have been carried out by staff of the State Enterprise Scientific-Research Institute of Building Constructions (NIISK) are presented in the monograph. The guiding principles of design of earthquake proof buildings and structures are in detail presented in Book and necessary formulas for definition of seismic loadings according to rules of EUROCODE 8 are given. Includes questions of design of constructions according to requirements of SBN B.1.1-12: 2014 Construction in seismic regions of Ukraine which already have 10 years'' experience of application. Examples of scientific and technical support of design and construction of earthquake resistance buildings according to this normative document are given. Features of definition of seismic loadings at design of high-rise buildings are considered and the directions of upgrading of norms on the basis of experience of their application are defined.
