DESKTOP VIRTUALIZATION

This book is based on the conclusion work of the post-graduation Lato Sensu course in Computer Networks with the following title Virtualization of Desktops: Implementation with VirtualPC in the Desktop Environment of the Municipal Health Department of the city of Montes Claros - MG . In this book concepts about the types of existing operating systems virtualization are addressed presenting some deployment strategies for virtualization solutions. The book covers a case study of the Health Department of Montes Claros - MG that faced a problem of incompatibility of applications based on MS-DOS -16bits with newer operating systems based on 64 bits. In the book we discuss about some solutions in the market like: Sun VirtualBox VMware Player or Workstation and Microsoft VirtualPC.
