Determination of Noise Levels and their Impact on Health

Currently noise at high decibels generates noise pollution and is a public nuisance which is why this research entitled Determination of the noise level and its effect on the health of the inhabitants of Huari 2019 aims to determine the sound pressure levels in residential areas commercial area and special protection area of the city of Huari. The hypothesis of the research was the noise levels are higher than those allowed and influence the health of the inhabitants of Huari 2019. The methodology used was according to the technical standard the measurements were made under the Peruvian technical standards NTP ISO 1996-1:2007 and NTP ISO 1996-2:2008 and the instrument used for the measurement was a class 1 sound level meter recommended by the international standard IEC 61672-1:2002 for field work with precision in the following areas considered: Municipality of Huari R_7 Jr. San Martin with Mariscal Toribio Luzuriaga R_3 Av. Magisterial with Jr. Libertad R_5 Jr. C de Condamine with Jr. San Martin R_7 Jr. San Martin with Mariscal Toribio Luzuriaga.
