Determination of Workload and Use Factor in the Radiography Department of Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Yola Adamawa State.

Workload use factor and occupancy factor among other parameters are essential quantities that can be used to estimate the sufficiency of a shielding barrier of the radiography department of any Medical Centre. This book offers the estimate of workload per patient average number of patients per week and determine the total workload in radiography room of a medical Centre. Also offered is the estimate of use factor for different barriers and sufficiency of shielding for use of the radiography room using Federal Medical Centre Yola Adamawa State Nigeria as case study. XRAYBARR application designed by Douglas J. Simpkin was used to analyze and estimate the sufficiency of shielding material available in the medical centre.
