The Moonlight Filtered In Though The Lace Curtains Over The Kitchen Window As Laura Stared Out Into The Darkness. It Was As Though The Inky Blackness Was Seeping Into Her And The Cup Of Coffee She Held Did Little To Warm Her. She Was Afraid...The Man'S Body They Found In The High Desert Was A Man She May Have Known For Well Over Ten Years. A Positive Id Was Yet To Come Back. The Victim Was Definitely Killed By A Shotgun Blast To The Face. No Weapon And No Shell Casing Were Found At The Scene. Decomposition And Animals Had Made The Scene A Nightmare To Recover. For A Small Community In Nevada This Was Their First Homicide In Years.
