Developing A Learning Styles - Based Instructional Design

About The Book

In our sincere attempt to teach our students effectively there is no such thing as bad teaching. However we need to balance our teaching with the needs and preferences of the students. This means introducing multiple strategies that balance the learning styles preferences and the learning competencies of the course. This book covers theories and concepts in education as well as the results of my dissertation that led to the development of an enhanced instructional design called FIER (Formulation Implementation Evaluation and Review/Revision) and the Five-Step Five-Cycle Teaching Model. Thus this book will guide you in developing learning styles-based outcomes (LSBO’s) and learners-centered activities (LCA’s) as well as in developing a learning styles-based teaching plan and instructional design. If you are a teacher administrator curriculum planner or instructional designer this book is for YOU.
