Development of General Education School in Kazakhstan in 1980-1990s

In the 80s of the twentieth century the reform of Soviet general and vocational schools in the USSR including Kazakhstan began. The process of realisation of the special role of education knowledge and competence of people was intensified. School as the basis of education and culture began to gain more and more importance in society. However in conditions of social political and economic instability it was not an upward movement. On the contrary the constantly changing situation in the country and the transformation of the union republics into sovereign states reflected in its diversity on the state of the whole general education school.
