Development of Small Scale Food Industry Cluster in Indonesia

Indonesia has a very good potential in agriculture however this condition has not been able to improve the welfare of farmers. One effort to improve the welfare of farmers is to provide added value on fresh produce that result. The added value that should be pursued is through processing business. In accordance with the conditions of people in developing countries the developed processing industry should be small. Because the formation of clusters of small-scale food industry is the right choice. Various development programs should be directed to the development of small-scale food industry cluster.
