Development of The Viet Nam competitive electricity market

Vietnam power market is still in a state monopoly (both monopsony and monopoly). On the market the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) has the sole power buyer for thermal power plants hydro power plants ... and the seller is only for consumers on the electricity market. Consumers only have a choice to buy electricity sold by EVN. In this book the author mention the innovation for the competitive electricity market based on the experience electricity market reform in the countries of the world. Also the author estimated the electricity demanded quantity based on data from 1995- 2014 and forecates the electricity demand quantity form 2015- 2035.
