Developmentalism and New Developmentalism in Bresser-Pereira

This book discusses the intellectual history of the concepts of developmentalism and new developmentalism throughout the work of Brazilian economist Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira. In a simple way it contextualises the author's ideas according to the political-economic strategies and intellectual debates that existed during the period in which the works studied were written. It thus constitutes a reference in the study of Brazil's trajectory and development based on the contributions of one of Brazil's greatest social scientists.
