DEVIANT BEHAVIOUR

In addition to the traditional agents of socialisation - family school and work - responsibility for the increased frequency of deviant behaviour is increasingly being attributed to other factors such as the formation of youth gangs the characteristics of certain clubs the hostility exuded by big cities - in short the capitalist consumer society.According to these arguments it becomes necessary to clarify certain notions and concepts fundamental for those who work in this area. We structure our strategy through a brief glossary that intends nothing more than to prevent in the simplest possible way anomalous situations of proximity between concepts that we use daily. That is why we limit ourselves to delimit them giving them specific and proper connotations as is evident for example in the cases of approaches that require special terminology in terms of legislation or a compendium. Only in this way is it possible to advance short definitions for large issues.
