Diabetic Profile of Mukia Maderaspatana

This study deals with the overall activity about Mukia Maderaspatana extracts and fractions. It mainly depicts its use as a potent antidiabetic activty. It deals with thorough literature review followed by phytochemical investigation. During this pharmacognostical study soxhlet extraction was performed with alcohol. Then the extract was fractionated with butanol and chloroform. Then acute toxicity study was performed and later on dose was fixed. The pharmacological activity was performed after the induction diabetes with streptozotocin. Then the parameters were measured and finally evaluated results were tabulated.
