In the second edition of the monograph on diagnosis and surgical treatment of chronic pancreatitis (CP) created by the efforts of prominent specialists in the field of surgical pancreatology based on personal experience of more than 800 operations on the pancreas in chronic pancreatitis (CP) the main issues of surgical and pathological anatomy etiology and pathogenesis clinic are outlined. Emphasis is placed on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pancreatitis. The authors paid special attention to stage and repeated operations in CP. Chapters reflecting pathomorphologic studies of various pathologies of PJ are presented. A separate chapter is devoted to minimally invasive surgery of CP. The monograph is intended primarily for surgeons but will be of interest to gastroenterologists specialists in the diagnosis of diseases of the PG pathomorphologists and young doctors who are going to devote themselves to abdominal surgery.
