Diagnosis of Cardiac Signals (ECG) using The Wavelet Techniques

This book proposes a new combination method for classifying normal heartbeats and other abnormalities. The MITBIH arrhythmia database was used as the data source in this study. In the preprocessing stage Wavelet Transform is used to provide an informative representation for removing noise and tuning to the morphological characteristics of the waveform features. For feature extraction a set of features that consists of both morphological and temporal features is used.
