Diagnostic modalities in Endodontics

Diagnosis is an integral part of Endodontics. Without proper diagnosis an ideal treatment plan can not be established. Therefore the successful outcome of endodontic treatment depends on correct diagnosis in timely manner. Various tests has been used in past to establish an endodontic diagnosis. Tests that has been used in routine endodontic practice do not evalute the true pulp vitality. Various advanced modalities like LDF pulse oximeter have been developed to check the pulp vitality in true sense. This book covers various basic and advanced diagnostic modalities available.
