Dictionary of Evolutionary Fish Osteology

<p>The purposes of the present dictionary are to define the osteological and taxonomic terms referring to fishes and to explain the rationale both anatomical and function of fish skeletal units in an evolutionary and biological context. This branch of biology – fish osteology – provides a deeper insight into fish evolution bone homologies fish terminology and fish taxonomy.</p>
