Die Wallensteinübersetzung von Samuel T. Coleridge und ihr deutsches Original

<p>Diese Arbeit untersucht Samuel Taylor Coleridges Übersetzung von Schillers Wallenstein-Trilogie. Im Fokus steht der Vergleich der englischen Übersetzung mit dem deutschen Originaltext um die translatorischen Entscheidungen und die künstlerische Interpretation Coleridges zu analysieren.</p><p>Die Studie geht der Frage nach inwieweit Coleridge die spezifischen stilistischen und inhaltlichen Elemente von Schillers Drama in seiner Übersetzung bewahrt oder verändert hat.
