About The Book

After the immersion in cyberspace the way people deal with information is significantly changed. Therefore it is essential to think of new ways of teaching that meet this new demand of individuals who have a different way of receiving transferring and dealing with information. Based on this premise the research portrayed here aimed to stimulate teachers to use digital technologies specifically through a virtual environment called Teacher Thing created with the intention of familiarizing teachers with learning objects in the form of digital educational resources and encourage their use in their pedagogical practices. To compose the cyclic profile of the virtual environment it was tested with a group of teachers and their impressions and suggestions were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed enabling interventions that sought to adapt the design usability and accessibility of the environment.
