The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into English language education at the university level especially in Mali presents both opportunities and challenges that require a nuanced approach. This experimental research examinesthe effectiveness and influence of using technology as a tool for teaching and learning within the Faculty of Literature Languages and Language Sciences (FLSL) English Department. Drawing on theoretical frameworks like the TPACK Framework and Social Constructivist Learning Theory the study explores the transformative potential of ICT in education addressing its advantages and drawbacks. Methodologically the research adopts a qualitative approach employing sampling techniques and data collection instruments to gather insights from students and teachers. Statistical analyses uncover variations in student performance between experimental and control groups suggesting the potential for enhanced language skills through ICT integration. Interviews with students and teachers emphasize a favorable attitude towards ICT integration with participants utilizing platforms such as WhatsApp YouTube and Google Classroom.
