Dimensions of a Worshiper

About The Book

The Christian life is not passive. We must be engaged and active in the work of our salvation (Philippians 2:12). Those who worship in the temple will be measured (Revelation 11:1). This is a reality we cannot deny. I agree that John is not speaking of a quantitative measure. Although quantity is essential it is not the central issue. I believe John is referring to a qualitative measure. In other words the quality of those who worship. Could this be the reason why Jesus tells the Samaritan woman that the Father is looking for worshippers who worship in spirit and in truth? These two qualities point to the worshipper's attitude to the quality of the worship. Such worshippers are those who live each day expanding the height depth breadth and length of their worship.
