Diplomacy in the War of the Spanish Succession 1702-1714

In 1710 France which was fighting against the whole of Europe to impose a Frenchman on the throne of the Spanish Empire was on the verge of succumbing and being dismembered. So the French bribed England into abandoning its Allies on all battlefields and to stop subsidizing and funding the war against the French.This monographic research aims to objectively reveal this unusual diplomatic adventure that allowed France and England to emerge victoriously from the War of Spanish Succession.
