<p> Sometimes I dream of what a perfect world would look like.</p><p> I dream of a perfect world where there's no pain. No illness or discrimination. </p><p> A perfect world where people are honest and support each other. War would be a thing of the past and peace would reign.</p><p> A perfect world full of laughter and loving families where a little girl like me could have a happily-ever-after like we see in movies.</p><p> But <em>this </em>world...is not a perfect world. It's full of pain sickness and death. People lie cheat and steal. War and fighting are a common occurrence. And <em>my </em>family? It's about the furthest thing from loving a person could get.</p><p> It's not a perfect world and me? I am not that little girl destined for a happily-ever-after. Every single day of my life as far back as I can remember has been filled with pain and fear. They think they can break me. Make me disappear. But I'm stronger than they think and I will not be so easily broken. </p><p>My name is Taryn and <em>this </em>is how my story begins.</p>
