Disciplinary Practices (Effect on Behavior of Preschool Children)

About the Book: Parents and teachers play a significant role in socialization of children especially during formative years of pre- school age. Changes in family contexts and family structure in India has brought out considerable changes in parenting values and practices. Knowledge about Parenting Practices values attitudes and behaviors among parents is very limited and thus there is the need to understand child-rearing practices among parents in different cultures of Indian context and also in Andhra Pradesh with this background Present study was made an attempt to find the determinants of disciplinary practices adopted by parents and to explore its effect on behavior of pre-school children in different settings of preschools.
